garoto cósmico

Ontem vi "Garoto Cósmico", primeiro longa de Alê Abreu e o único longa brasileiro no Anima Mundi esse ano. Me emocionei. A amiga que me acompanhava derramou lágrimas furtivas. Um primor de técnica mas acima disso um primor de delicadeza, uma mistura maravilhosa de mãos, lápis, retalhos, computação, música e vozes... A única estranheza para nós foi o paulistanês pesado das vozes infantis falando "é mêêiiismo"... Mas ok, quem mandou ser carioca.

Totalmente despreparadas para um frio-surpresa, ainda assistimos a uma sessão de curtas depois, mas o dia foi mesmo do Alê. Apresentação da sessão_ primeira do Brasil, que privilégio!_ pelo próprio, muitos abraços, congratulações e autógrafos-croquis em catálogos do festival. Ele merece. Foram 7 anos gestando o filho junto com muita gente boa. Parabéns a todos.

Ah, e o filme foi dedicado ao Raul Cortês. Muito bom.

Yesterday I watched "Garoto Cósmico" (cosmic boy), first Alê Abreu's feature film and the only brazilian feature film in the Anima Mundi Festival 2007. I've got emotional. A friend who was with me shed some furtive tears. A perfection of techinics but more than this, a perfection of delicacy, a great mix of hands, pencils, shreds, computer, music and voices... The only one weirdness to us was the children voices' speaking in a strong paulista accent... But, ok, who did order me to be a carioca.

Quite off our guards for a surprising-cold weather, we still watched a short movies session later, but the day really belonged to Alê. The introduction of session _the first of Brazil, what a privilege!_ by himself, lots of hugs, congratulations and autograph-sketches on festival booklets. He deserves it. It was 7 years generating the child with many great people. Congratulations to all.

Ah, and the movie was dedicated to Raul Cortês. Great.
